Exams and Cleanings for Kids in Vineland, NJ

One of the most important things you can do to help your child maintain a healthy smile is bring them in for regular examinations and cleanings. We can accomplish so much with your child when we see them every six months for this care. For instance:

  1. We can determine how well your child is cleaning their teeth at home and provide instructions for better cleaning procedures.
  2. We can get your child used to the sounds, smells and other sensations of visiting a dentist’s office.
  3. We have the chance to offer you advice on ways you can keep your child’s teeth healthier, for example, by discouraging thumb-sucking or offering fewer sugary treats.
  4. Of course, we will remove any accumulated tartar from the teeth.
  5. We can identify early signs of gum disease.
  6. We can take X-Rays to ensure that permanent teeth are growing into their correct positions.
  7. We can spot the first signs of tooth decay and schedule your child for immediate treatment.

When we see your child at least twice a year, we can head off serious problems while those problems are still small. This means your child can avoid dental problems that may require more extensive dental work later on.

Regular visits to the friendly and welcoming staff of South Jersey Pediatric Dental are the best way to start your child on a lifetime of beautiful and healthy teeth!

"There’s not enough good things I can say about this office. Front staff is always on point with everything and very thorough if you have any questions. The hygienist, Katheryn is great with kids! And don’t even get me started on Dr. Bristol! Her and her assistant Samuel work together perfect! She always puts a smile on everyone’s face! Office is always clean and professional. I would give it a million stars if I could!!!"

"Dr. Bristol-Martir and staff deserve more than 5 stars on this review. She was amazing and all of her staff were awesome. Not to mention the office was super organized and clean (which is super important specially in times of covid). We have a 1 month old that needed a frenectomy procedure, it was done the same day, everything was explained before and after the procedure and the directions were clear.  Everyone was super attentive, professional and helpful.  Great communication, easy to call and ask questions (which we did have being new parents). Cannot ask for a better dentist for my baby. Also, a plus for this office, the doctor and a lot of the staff are bilingual."
